Why community service?
Community service builds connectedness and is one way for us to perform our civic duty in the communities we live in.
This is especially helpful in underserved communities where we often witness increasing violence and decreasing resources. We all know that service doesn’t have to cost a thing (service is free). Generation Change Founder Kouri Marshall was introduced to civic engagement at a young age and believes that community service helped guide him to where he is today.
Generation Change is on a mission to connect young people to service opportunities and human capital that can help unlock the futures that they deserve. We believe that service, civic engagement, and community building are the keys to the future.
