About Us: Generation Change, Inc. was originally established in 2007 to serve as a civic engagement vehicle.

Generation Change is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides mentorship opportunities to school aged young men by encouraging and rewarding their community service efforts.

Community service builds connectedness and is one way for us to perform our civic duty in the communities we live in. This is especially helpful in disadvantaged and underserved communities where we often witness increasing violence and decreasing resources.

We all know that service doesn’t have to cost a thing (service is free). Generation Change Founder Kouri Marshall was introduced to community service at a young age and believes that community service has helped guide him to where he is today. Generation Change is on a mission to connect young men to service opportunities and human capital that can help unlock the futures that they deserve. We believe that service, civic engagement, and community building are the keys to the future.
